Olla Pot Irrigation – Learn about it and make one for your Garden!
The Lycoming County Master Gardeners are holding a “make and take” workshop on Olla pot irrigation. Learn the history of Olla pots, the advantages of using them as an alternate irrigation method, and ways to incorporate them into your home and garden. The latter part of the class will be held outside in the Sensory Garden, where you will learn to make your own Olla pot to take home. Please dress to work outdoors.
There is a $10 registration fee for materials, so PRE-REGISTRATION is requested due to limited seating and ordering of materials. Pre-registration must be completed by 4:30 PM, Thursday, May 18th. Payment must be sent or brought to the Extension office prior to the class
